Xpand Biotechnology BV consortium receives EUR 0.5 million to develop stem cell bioreactor

Xpand Biotechnology announced today that the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs has awarded an international consortium, in which it is a partner, EUR 0.5 million subsidy for the development of tissue specific add-on modules for the bioreactor for the expansion and differentiation of adult stem cells. As coordinator of this programme, Xpand will collaborate with Applikon BV, Shanghai Center of Tissue Engineering and the Malaysian InnoBio Diagnostics. The total costs of this programme are EUR 2.0 million.
