Process Engineer Bioreactor Technology (1.0 fte) - posted 24.06.2010
Job description
Xpand Biotechnology is looking for a full time Process Engineer to work in the bioreactor technology team. In this role, he/she will be responsible for the integration of bioreactor process technology and biological aspects of stem cell expansion. This includes planning, set-up, implementation, and trouble shouting of experiments, in process analysis and validation of the product, and oral presentations and reporting. Additional tasks and responsibilities include maintenance and inspection of laboratory equipment, supplies and documentation.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced process engineer with a Bachelor or Masters degree in bioprocess technology or other relevant areas. The candidate should have at least 4-5 years industrial experience with bioreactor design/engineering and process technology. She/he will be involved in the transition from bioreactor development towards production and excellent independent troubleshooting ability and experience in product development are requirements. We are looking for a motivated individual who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team, who is independent and flexible in work and behavior, and who is critical and accurate in execution of the work
